SouthPark Symphony Park

Shared Success
The Symphony Park project is a comprehensive revitalization of an existing public park in Charlotte’s SouthPark neighborhood. The renovation will enhance the current park amenities and introduce up to 12,000 SF of restaurant and retail space, permanent public restrooms, and a new boardwalk to expand public access and usability.
Storey PM Advantage
StoreyPM joined this project at the conclusion of the conceptual phase to lead procurement of a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) through a competitive, state- and locally compliant RFQ process. By involving the CMAR early and maintaining close collaboration throughout design, StoreyPM brings real-time market insight that aligns design decisions with the target budget and significantly reduces the risk of cost or scope surprises as the project progresses toward construction.
With multiple stakeholders—including three owners, two design teams, and the CMAR—StoreyPM provides dependable coordination and composed leadership that keeps teams aligned around shared goals and criteria for success. Our role as the central owner’s representative ensures clear communication and proactive decision-making, driving an efficient process that supports on-time delivery, on-budget performance, and outcomes that reflect the community’s expectations and long-term vision.
